GOODWOOD NEVER DISAPPOINTS
Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of my personal favourite automotive events which takes place annually on the Goodwood estate every summer here in West Sussex, UK. It's now in its 32nd year after its launch in 1993 and has grown to be one of the biggest automotive events in the world.

The Festival of Speed is a celebration of motorsport history, featuring classic and modern racing cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles, with many competing in a hillclimb 'Shoot out' up the historic Goodwood Hill, something which I've had the honour of competing in twice and remains one of my favourite memories behind the wheel during my racing career.

The event also includes demonstrations, exhibitions, and opportunities for close access to vehicles and drivers.
This year we were invited to attend as a guest of DHL on the trade day which takes place on the Thursday ahead of opening up to the general public on the Friday. We were very lucky to have passes to Goodwood house itself where DHL's hospitality was based. It was amazing to witness the house from the inside.

After an amazing breakfast spread and networking in the house we headed out into the 33 degree heat and started our 25,000 steps around the amazing grounds.
There's a reason why the event is spread over four days, we did our best to see everything we could but a few of our highlights from the day we've shared below.
The collection of ex Le Mans Porsche 962's was a particular highlight.
All of the manufacturers and displays are so thought out and impressive but of course we set our sights on the Porsche stand. Porsche have been supporters of the event since 1995 which again highlights the success of what ultimately is a very large garden party.
Porsche always bring along the best array of cars including past, present and future. Their supercar paddock being a fantastic spot to admire, but not to leave out their classics which always blows my mind and lights my fire of owning one one day.
Some of the latest and greatest were on display, including the 'road legal' 963 along with the Count Rossi 917. Both truly stunning machines.
After seeing it a few weeks ago at the Porsche x Soho Summit event it was great to enjoy the 911 Spirit 70 again which they have on display all weekend.
This Sonderwunsch 993 Speedster was certainly a crowd favourite along with the Lanzante 911 GT1 in what appeared to be Yachting Blue. Truly magnificent!
You can find the Porsche stand on the outside of the hillclimb’s Molecomb Corner.
There is truly too many unicorns to capture, if you can make it to the show, it's certainly worth a visit!
Goodwood never disappoints. Every year the event seems to just get better and better, they truly know how to do it. A massive thank you to DHL for inviting us along and for the amazing hospitality. We can't wait to be back next year.
If you're not attending this year and want to enjoy the event from your own home head over to Goodwood Festival of Speeds YouTube channel where they are live streaming all weekend.
