The latest turbo charged models from Porsche are formidable in stock form however there is always room for improvements to be made, especially in the exhaust system. Our direct replacement exhaust components not only save weight and improve sound they also deliver solid performance gains without compromise in a direct replacement part with perfect fit.
Through the use of light weight materials and clever design we have managed to significantly reduce the overall weight of the factory 992 Turbo exhaust components. Removing weight full stop carries great benefits in any performance vehicle however the gains are exaggerated on this platform, reducing the rear biased weight distribution helps to improve overall balance and handling.
All of the JCR 992 Carrera & Turbo Race Pipes are direct replacement for their OEM equivalents with guaranteed fit perfectly every time. No requirement for any further work during install beyond removing the OEM part and replacing with its JCR equivalent along with any supplied hardware.
Non Silenced / Valved Design
The purpose of the JCR Titanium Race products for the 992 Carrera and Turbo models is to reduce weight by the maximum amount possible whilst increasing power, torque and improving overall sound.
Our Valved version of the centre section provides a nice increase in overall sound with the valves open along with a zero drone and quiet sound with the valves closed. A tuned merge, active with both valves open and closed also provides an improved exhaust scavenging effect along with a smoother and more pleasant tone.
OEM Valve Control
Our Titanium Race Pipe (Valved / Race Cats) retains the factory valve switching functionality for a more subtle sound whilst cruising and at lower speeds.
Simply replace the factory valve motor actuator onto the JCR valve section and the exhaust will function as per OEM with full control over the valve position via the exhaust button and mode switches.
HJS 200 CEL Cat
The JCR Inconel Race Cat removed the factory dummy OPF matrix and restrictive factory cat and replaces them with a high flow HJS 200 Cel cat. Flow is therefore greatly increased and improved performance comes as a result. For cars with no OPF monitoring our Race Cats in most cases will not cause any CEL and do not require any tuning.
In certain instances it's still possible for a CEL to occur. This tends to be if the car has poor fuel quality in the tank or excess load is applied when the engine and exhaust system is not up to full operating temperature. With this in mind, we do not guarantee that there is no chance of a CEL with these parts installed.
Every component of the JCR Titanium Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve HP & TQ with varying results dependant on the combination of parts. Our most extreme free flowing system will see gains in the mid 40HP range on this platform along with great improvements in engine response along with a big boost in mid range torque.
