NEW LAMBORGHINI PRODUCT - TITANIUM RACE PIPE (SUPER SILENT)

Here at JCR, we focus on making cars faster, lighter and 'usually' louder. However, this time we’re going to be doing things a little bit differently.

Today will be taking a look into our brand-new Lamborghini Huracan STO, Titanium Super Silent Race Pipe.  As UK and European circuits continue to crack down on noise, this product is the first in a new rage of offerings from JCR which will be coming to market, focussing purely on performance and weight savings whilst keeping in line with track day noise regulations.

Our brand new Titanium Super Silent Race removes the factory exhaust valves and all exhaust gasses pass through our bespoke Titanium silencer. After months of work, the result is that owners are now able to run these cars on even the most strictly governed circuits without fear of breaking noise regulations, just as they were intended to be used and enjoyed.

With our Titanium Super Silent Race Pipe installed on the car, it was time to get some final sign off testing completed. What better place to test than the strictest circuit in the UK for noise regulations, Bedford Autodrome. With a drive-by noise limit of a measly 95 dB, there are very few modern-day supercars that are able to pass this particular noise limit, even with particulate filters and new EU noise regulations imposed on manufacturers.

The testing was conducted by the circuit itself, on the ‘sound loop’ where cars are first tested at static and then dynamically on circuit. The Huracan STO passed with flying colours, full RPM full load past the noise meters. It’s safe to say that we’re extremely satisfied with the results.
